Toys R Us doesn’t accept Babies R Us coupons?
I’m just a few weeks away from having my first baby. My mother came to visit to help with last minute preparations. She brought with her a bunch of Babies R Us coupons. The city I live in doesn’t have a Babies R Us, but we have a Toys R Us with a baby department. We went there with coupons in hand.
When we tried to use the coupons the cashier told us they did not accept Babies R Us coupons. She acted like we were idiots for trying to use them. Now, isn’t it the same company??? It seems like they would honor the coupons. Anyone else have this problem? I’m not sure if I should let it go or try calling customer service.
No, Toys R Us are not the same company although they have the same owners. While some groups will interchange each others coupons, most don’t.
So, save your coupons for online or drive to where there is a Babies R Us (they have a hugely different inventory).
Please note: some Toys R Us have a Babies R Us (not just a baby dept.) in them. Those Babies R Us stores do take the coupons.
