Advice needed: traveling overseas with 2 children ages 6 and 3?

Hi, I am looking for ideas or things that have worked for you, I am going to Germany with my husband and 2 children, girls ages 3 and 6 to see family. We have made the flight before many times, but I am out of good ideas or ways to make the flight more smooth for everyone. So what games, toys, things, have you brought for your kids or what things have you done? and how did they work? Thank yo so much for your ideas

Airlines provides play things to the children on board aircraft to keep them busy. Stuff like colored pencils, papers, mini puzzles etc. etc. Dont bother to take toys with you.
