Will It Work out to be away from your rabbit for 6-10 hours?

I am thinking about getting 2 rabbits. I still attend school at the moment too, I have after school activities on 1 day of the week for 10 hours (including school). The house is empty for 7-8 hours everyday. If I leave the food and toys and the two rabbits together in their cage, will they be fine?

They will be fine. I have to leave my Netherland Dwarf alone when I am at work, but will leave the TV on in the other room for her. I will play with her at night and give her a couple of hours every day out of her cage to run and get exercise.

She does fine with this routine and she is alone without another bunny companion. The biggest thing is to give them one on one as much as you can and not to leave them caged up. If you are concerned about potty messes on the floor, I put up a baby gate in my bathroom and let her run in there at night while I am moving around the house. . .peekinging my head in every few minutes or so just to say hi!
