With all the warnings about toys from China and now the packaged food. Is there an underlying motive?

And, could it be propaganda and we’re so quick to grab a bargain we don’t realize it? Do you buy food from other countries?
I always thought lipstick was made with fish oil, anybody else? I refuse to go back to picking berries to color my lips!!LOL!!

In my opinion the underlying motive is greed. Both on the part of the Chinese manufacturers and on the part of the American companies that order them. As for food contamination, food produced here in the US is also frequently contaminated. Profit before people seems to be the industrial motto these days and it is on an international scale.
