Toddler Easter Basket?
I know that Easter is still weeks away, but I want to get a head start on getting some stuff together for an Easter Basket this year. My daughter is 15 months now (she will be 17 months by Easter), and I am wondering what I should stuff her Easter Basket with this year. I like to make my own, that ways its more personal and age appropriate. Also, its kind of a tradition to get a somewhat bigger gift for Easter as well in our family, like a ride on toy or something to go along with the basket, but i’m really at a loss as of what to get her this year seeing as she has everything. Her Birthday was in Nov and then with Christmas being right after, it seems she has everything. I really don’t want to buy another ride on or battery powered toy…she has so many, but i’m open to all options. Please give me some ideas. I just like to stay on top of this stuff, that way I don’t have to rush around the week of trying to decide what to get. Thanks in advance.
My son will be 18 months for Easter, and we were in the same postion as far as getting everything for his birthday/Christmas. We bought him a picnic table. He won’t be able to use it outside just yet since we live in the Midwest, and I think we will have snow still coming down in July;), but even if we put it in the toy room for a couple months, he’ll love sitting at it. Maybe you could try something along those lines? Also, my son has food allergies, so his basket will have mostly fruit and the few types of candy he can have. I also plan to buy things like bubbles, chalk, and maybe some smaller yard toys. Have you bought anything like the Tadoodles crayons and markers? My son loves them!
Also, I’m not sure where you live, like if you live in an apartment or house, but if you have a yard that has a tree, you could always get a baby swing. We did that last summer, and my son LOVED it!:) As far as a battery operated toy, we have two four wheelers that seem to be played with pretty hard already… although maybe that’s just a little boy!
LOL
Happy shopping and Happy Easter to you and your family!
