Work at a major studio?

I am an aspiring actor currently living in Simi Valley (my situation makes my rent there very cheap). I’m currently going to junior college and am active in local theatre at all times. I have been toying with the thought of working at one of the major studios (to potentially get my foot that much more in the door) while continuing school/acting jobs. Is it possible for a student in my position to obtain a job at one of these studios? Any info/experience/recommendations are welcome.

Many of the studios offer paid internships for college students, and even an unpaid one would be beneficial because of the connections you’d make. My boyfriend interned at WB last summer and had an awesome experience. They actually wanted him to work part time during the year, but he is taking too heavy of a course load. Companies are loyal to the interns who schlepped around for them and worked hard for little!

The UTA job list is a good place to find entry jobs.
