How many years did you wait before you could get a dog/puppy? What did you do to prepare?
For me, I had to wait 7 years! I wanted one when I was 2 and a half, then had to wait for a long time. Once I was 9, in august, I got my first dog. A beagle named Niki! She’s smart and cute, but fat. lol. But to prepare in the meantime, I read ANY dog books i could get my hands on, and practiced with all my toy dogs (like, 40 of them!). I read all the dog books in my school library, and the PUBLIC library.
