Okie Dokie … So how do I start?

Well, I suggest you start to get an idea of what kind of materials you want work with. Ummm … OK … So what can I do with these materials?

In short order … to a pocket-sized candy wrapper, you cut your material into approximately 2 "x 4.5" rectangles, folded up in 1 / 2 "x 1" rectangles, and "woven" together using the classic technique wrapper chain gum tissue.

Remember that one? It is the last centuries, but many have forgotten. These small rectangles "links" are woven into the strings (about 50 to 60 links long) and then joined in a round "ring".

The rings then be stacked atop one another and sewn together with either strong thread or fishing line with a "zig zag "technique. Once you are satisfied with the height of your portfolio, you can close the bottom of the bag with thread, sew a zipper at the top … and do a longer chain and sew on a handle.
