Do you have to bring your child outside every day?

If it’s really cold and windy and your child is happy to run around indoors playing with their toys, is it necessary to wrap them up and bring them outside? If so, for how long?
I don’t want to keep my child cooped up and we go out into the garden every day, but when it’s freezing outside, I’d rather not bring her out. Is this wrong?

No. you’re not wrong.
Changes of air temperature help tone up the body’s system for adapting to cold or heat. Its is good for children to get outdoors for two to three hours a day, particularly during the season when the house is heated. Children love to be outdoors. and it gives them pink cheeks and good appetites.
When it’s really cold or windy outside, or below 40, children should stay outdoors for only shorts period of time . Pay attention to shivering. Persistent shivering is a sign to head indoors.. Serious health risks from cold weather include hypothermia and frostbites.
