wi fi connection?

on da ds booklet it says i need a active internet account. wat da hell does dat mean?
and a access point such as a wireless router or da nintendo wi fi usb connecter( i belive u buy dat at toys r us 4 30 dollars) correct me if im wrong. and wat do i do after i buy dat

active internet account = means you have to have access to the internet.

if you have access to the internet, then it means you have a modem. If you have a modem then you might or might not have a wireless router

if you do have a wireless router: follow the manual on how to hook up your ds to your wireless router

if you dont have a wireless router then you will have to buy a usb wi fi from nintendo.
