How do you clean and disinfect your baby’s toys?

What do you use thats safe? Do you clean each toy individually? Do I really have to scrub each block?

I never specifically disinfected my daughters toys. My grandmother swears by “a few germs when they are little will help them build up immunity”. At 20 months my daughter is the healthiest at her daycare, so maybe there is some truth to it. That being said if they were dirty from being outside or dropped in the cat’s bowl or something, or after play group with lots of kids I’d usually throw them in the dishwasher.
From a daycare point of view, the health dept requires that we disinfect toys in general weekly and mouthed toys after each use. We have to wash them in hot soapy water, rinse in hot water and then soak in bleach water for at least 40 seconds. 1/2 cap of bleach to a sink of hot water. We then have to air dry.
