how to build a wooden toy box?

I am a stay at home mom, and how can the image appears terribly boring at times, but I like to build a simple wooden toy box for my children. I am very inexperienced in this department. but any help would be appreciated. Moreover, when I finish, I would get to help decorate, as the hand and footprints. I know they love it! So can someone please help?
