Toys for 12-18 months?

I’ve been getting some great deals on toys for my 8 month daughter at garage sales recently; it occurs to me if I was smart, I would stock up a bit for the future as well. But I don’t know what toys are appropriate/best/most loved by older babies!

A really great toy for that age is the Aqua Doodle. Beginning at this age, kids LOVE to draw on things! But giving a child this age a pen or crayon is a destructive idea. Aqua Doodle uses a water pen, so if they want to draw on other things there are no problems!
