Bad Toys Inc

Is it just me or is the quality of Pixar’s movies dipping?

I’ve just been through a Pixar marathon on DVD and in my eyes the quality of the stories gets worse from Finding Nemo on, with the notable exception being Ratatouille. The Incredibles had some laughs in it, but was generally too much of a good vs bad thing. Cars just plain out sucked. Pixar used to create such loveable characters like Sully and Mike in Monsters, Inc. or Woody and Rex in Toy Story that those cars couldn’t match at all. All in all the animation gets better and better but the stories and especially the characters lack format. In my opinion, Pixar should go back to their roots and don’t have Disney dictate the stories. Anybody else thinks so?

I agree Toy Story was great and A Bugs Life was too, compare that with the newer Cars and Wall-E they seem lackluster in comparison right? I know I know Wall-E was supposedly so great…it was too slow paced and seemed to be missing something. I haven’t seen UP yet though. The incredibles was just okay, I love Ratatoullie but it’s like the newer Pixar films are just less captivating.
