When we took this trip in the past she was younger and slept more. Now she is a very busy baby who likes to play, grab, cause trouble… how on earth do I keep her occupied on the train?

I’m going to the library to pick up some different books and I will bring a bunch of her toys and snacks, but I am dreading this. What if the train is full and she is stuck on my lap the whole way? I can’t afford to buy her another seat, this trip is a last minute thing and costing a ton.
There is no night trip offered and no sleeping car on this train… otherwise I would definately go that route!
