How electrical car works?

Hi , nowadays many automotive industries produce electrical car (many of them is hybrid car). I just wondering, how the electricity produces power to move the car? Is it same with radio remote control car (toys car) ?

Electric cars have electric motors. These motors use electricity in place of gasoline to power the vehicle. They work when electricity is fed to the motor, creating a magnetic field. The magnetic field in the motor causes a tightly wound coil of wire to rotate. This rotation is used to spin the axle of the vehicle, hence turning the tires for motion.
